PMC is a product that was developed by the Mitsubishi Corporation in the mid-1990s. It consists of pure silver or gold combined with a compound that gives it a clay-like quality. When fired, the compound burns off, and what remains is .999 fine silver or gold.

My silver butterflies are approximately 1/2" square and are securely mounted to posts with bullet backs.

All of my silver jewery is stamped ".999 FS."
