About The Artist

Ginger (Lacki) Wankewycz began folding origami creations at the age of 8.  Within a year, she was teaching classes and making holiday displays for the local libraries.  She continued her love of folding into adulthood and is always searching for new ways to implement folding techniques into her artwork.

In 2001, she graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College (now Baldwin-Wallace University) with a degree in Fine Arts (specializing in printmaking) and Psychology.

She has continued her printmaking and is always experimenting with new imagery and trying different ways to make her work more 3-dimensional, most recently including chine colle in her work which involves a sort of collaging into the print.

Ginger continues to display her work at local galleries and art shows across the country and has amassed a number of awards for her work.
